Gérald Genta steel watch and black strap

This watch from the defunct Gérald Genta brand is a true work of art. The automatic system of this watch is known as “jumping hour”. Using a detailed internal system, the watch marks the current time in a window located at 6 o'clock, with Arabic numerals. At the top of the dial is the minute counter, indicated by a single hand, which jumps when it reaches 60. When the hand jumps, the time in the window changes and the hand returns to 0 to start another 60 minutes. On this occasion, the watch consists of a ø36 mm shiny polished steel case, with a domed bezel, which makes it very similar to a retro automobile tachometer, and a black leather strap with an original steel clasp from the Swiss firm. Watch in excellent unused condition.
