This model from Baume&Mercier's Riviera collection is a bold, sporty, and versatile watch. Of course, it comes with the quality guarantee of having a Swiss-made automatic movement, like all the brand's watches. The striking dial in various levels of satin-finished blue 'soleil' is impressive, featuring a date window and open worked hands. The watch case, with a diameter of 42mm, is made of polished and satin-finished stainless steel and is crowned by a screw-down dodecagonal bezel. Every detail is meticulously thought out, such as the Phi symbol-shaped counterweight of the second hand. The chromatic variety of the design is primarily established in the watch's dial and hands but also in the integrated rubber strap, with a canvas texture that showcases two green stripes and a blue one in the centre. The finishing touch is a small label sewn onto the strap also featuring the Phi symbol.
