Made of 18 karat yellow gold, the locket is adorned with 17 round brilliant-cut white diamonds, with a total weight of 0.30 carats (G VS+). The 'guilloché' technique, a complex process that consists of engraving a geometric pattern on the metal, is used to create an intense red background on which the enamel is applied. This handcrafted work gives the piece exceptional depth and visual richness. Upon opening the locket, a delicate ladybug decorated with red and black enamel is revealed, a detail that adds a playful and charming touch to the jewel.
