The Seiko Prospex SPEEDTIMER HBC004J1 is an automatic mechanical watch that combines Seiko's watchmaking heritage with a practical countdown function. Its 6R55 calibre, with manual winding capability, provides an approximately 72-hour power reserve. The countdown function is operated through the crown at 4 o'clock, which controls the inner rotating ring and allows the wearer to measure different time intervals. Its design draws inspiration from the world of classic automobiles, reflected in the orange accents on the black dial and the embossed leather strap. The 39.5 mm stainless steel case features a super-hard coating and is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. The watch also features LumiBrite on the hands and indexes, a three-fold clasp and 20-bar water resistance.
