The special conditions of PRE-OWNED products, present on this website, from now on “WEBSITE”, are added to the general contracting conditions, which the interested party in the purchase of PRE-OWNED products, from now on “THE USER” accepts when purchasing a product on the WEBSITE. The owner of this WEBSITE, from now on “JOIERIA GRAU” reserves the right to modify these special conditions at any time without prior notice.

1- Categoría PRE-OWNED

The PRE-OWNED category, located in the menu and in other links on the WEBSITE, is intended for the display and sale of jewelry and watch items considered discontinued (outside the firm's catalog) or that have been previously worn (second hand). In any case, its condition and complete details appear in the description of the item listed as PRE-OWNED. We can find the following cataloging in the PRE-OWNED product category, which indicates the status of the products:

-       New: New item that due to its age is considered discontinued, but is about to be released.

-       Pre-owned: Second-hand item, which has been used by a previous owner. These items have been purchased, reviewed and fine-tuned.

2 – PRE-OWNED product sheet

In this product sheet, in addition to the photographs, name, description and price, you can find the characteristics of PRE-OWNED products: Brand, model, condition, materials, aesthetic description, year of manufacture, documentation and packaging included, reference of the signature and reference of JOIERIA GRAU, among others, if these are known to JOIERIA GRAU. For watches, this may also include the movement, case size, case material, strap material, or crystal type, among other characteristics, if known.

Each product sheet may include more or less information as JOIERIA GRAU deems necessary or has all the information to offer to THE USER.

Through this description, the condition of the specific piece is indicated and all the necessary information is provided so that THE USER is duly informed before making a purchase. If the piece shows clear signs of use or damage typical of a RE-OWNED product, it will be indicated in the description and will be visible as far as possible through the product images.

THE USER can contact JOIERIA GRAU through any of the methods available on the WEBSITE to request more details about the PRE-OWNED products, as well as more detailed photographs before proceeding with an online purchase.

4 – Images

The images of the PRE-OWNED product are taken exactly as the pieces are in reality, using high quality photographs. These are processed to extract the background for aesthetic reasons, but in no case are any scratches or bumps they may have handled. The images attempt to show the current state of the piece.

If the piece has original packaging or documentation, this is also photographed and processed without aesthetic retouching and is presented in the product sheet.

JOIERIA GRAU is not responsible for the visual interpretation that THE USER may make by viewing the images through a screen. Colors may differ slightly from reality and may vary depending on the screen from which the content of the WEBSITE is viewed.

5 – Trademarks and trade names

For the correct dissemination of information, JOIERIA GRAU names the brand and model of the item on the product sheets and through the sections intended for the promotion of PRE-OWNED items. This does not commit JOIERIA GRAU to have a commercial relationship with said brand nor does it commit the firm of the piece to provide any service to JOIERIA GRAU or the USER in relation to the item purchased subject to these conditions.

6 - Prices

The prices marked on the product sheet are final retail prices (RRP), stipulated by JOIERIA GRAU. To stipulate a retail price, JOIERIA GRAU carries out an aesthetic, technical and functional analysis of the piece, in addition to taking into account the current value of the metals and precious stones that make it up, accessories included, age, purchase price at owner and market value of the piece, to guarantee a fair and competitive price.

The prices marked on the Website are prices with VAT included.

JOIERIA GRAU reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice.

7 – Grau Pre-Owned Certificate

With all the pieces in the PRE-OWNED section, JOIERIA GRAU issues a Pre-Owned Grau certificate that includes the identification or reference number of the piece, serial number, brand and date of purchase, which guarantees its authenticity. To do this, the expert watchmakers and jewelers at JOIERIA GRAU carry out a rigorous technical inspection of the watch or jewel before putting it up for sale.

To obtain the Pre-Owned Grau Certificate, the piece must pass several controls, from identification of the piece, through complete evaluation, authenticity verification, deep cleaning, functional tests and diagnostics, replacement of parts and in the case of watches, also movement authentication, time review and power reserve test, complete function review, resistance tests, among others.

The entire certification process is carried out by our expert jewelers and watchmakers, with training in the best luxury brands and years of experience.

This process can take from several days to weeks, depending on the jewelry or watch to be certified.

Only in this way can the watch or jewelery obtain the Pre-Owned Grau Certificate.

8- Grau Guarantee

With all PRE-OWNED pieces that achieve the Pre-Owned Grau Certificate, JOIERIA GRAU offers an independent guarantee (included in said certificate), lasting one year, counting from the date of receipt of the purchase by the USER, which guarantees the perfect functioning of the watch or jewel at the time of sale.

This warranty does not cover signs of wear present on PRE-OWNED watches and jewelry at the time of sale. This warranty also does not cover aging of the watch (except airtightness and water resistance) or jewelry after sale, or defects or damage resulting from the following:

- Inappropriate or inappropriate use of the product (blows, impacts or destruction, etc.)

- Improper or unauthorized handling.

- Failure to service when recommended by the manufacturer (especially water resistance checks).

- Negligent or defective treatment.

- Use of components other than those recommended by the firm or JOIERIA GRAU.

- Loss, theft, fire or any natural disaster.

- Intentional damage, incorrect operation, negligence or accident caused by the client or a third party.

- Inappropriate or unauthorized repair or modification of the watch or jewelry by the client or third parties.

- In the case of watches, airtightness and water resistance are not guaranteed.

In the case of resorting to said guarantee, JOIERIA GRAU will analyze the cause of the defect or operating error under the criteria of the jeweler and watchmaker technicians and will carry out an exhaustive review, and may accept the guarantee or not.

JOIERIA GRAU's one-year warranty for PRE-OWNED items does not commit the original firm of the piece to take action on the item or to respond to any claim, change or replacement of parts that the jewel or watch needs to function. correctly.

JOIERIA GRAU's one-year warranty for PRE-OWNED items can only be used at JOIERIA GRAU. In any case, the piece will be reviewed and retuned with the modifications that the JOIERIA GRAU technician deems necessary for the item to function correctly.

In the event that the piece could not be repaired, JOIERIA GRAU would issue a voucher for the amount paid by THE CUSTOMER, to purchase another item from the PRE-OWNED section, from the catalog of eligible new watches and jewelry on this WEBSITE or items available in our physical jewelry stores (excluding new items from Rolex, Tudor and Cartier brands). The new or second-hand item that THE CUSTOMER wishes to purchase must be for an amount equal to or less than that of the voucher. If the amount of the voucher is exceeded, the CUSTOMER must pay the difference.

9 – Guarantees, certificates and original documents

In addition to the Pre-Owned Grau Certificate and JOIERIA GRAU's one-year warranty for PRE-OWNED items, each piece in the PRE-OWNED section may include warranty, certificate and/or original documents of the piece. These documents are delivered with the original piece in the state in which they are at that moment and in no case can duplicates of said documents or new original documents be made.

Original warranties may no longer be valid to claim warranty from the original firm.

10 – Right of withdrawal

Jewelry and watches cataloged as PRE-OWNED are governed by the same return policy of the WEBSITE. The user has 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to withdraw from the purchase contract and return the product. THE USER will be able to find more information and the return method on the Return Policy page.

The right of withdrawal will only apply to purchases made online through this WEBSITE.

11 – Packaging Included

In the product sheet published on the WEBSITE, it will be specified whether it has an original box. If it does not have the original box, the piece will be sent in GRAU PRE-OWNED packaging.

The original box will be sent as seen in the photographs presented in the product sheet on the WEBSITE, without alteration or modification by JOIERIA GRAU.

Under no circumstances can we send, exchange or replace an original box of a PRE-OWNED item with a new box from the same company.

THE USER accepts, by purchasing an item that includes the original box, that it may have damage or signs of use.
